ILLNESS POLICY & CLIENT SAFETY
The health and wellbeing of my clients and my practice are a top priority. If you currently have or have recently had cold, flu, or other contagious symptoms (fever, chills, sore throat, persistent cough, congestion, stomach illness, shortness of breath, etc.), please reschedule your appointment.
If you are immunocompromised, immunodeficient, or otherwise higher-risk (including chemo, autoimmune-suppressing medications, pregnancy, or caregiving for a higher-risk loved one), you are welcome here. Masks are always welcome, and by request I’m happy to wear a mask during your session, just let me know ahead of time or when you arrive. Disposable masks are available, and treatment areas and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized routinely.

SCHEDULING
Massage therapy services are available by appointment only. Same-day appointments may be available, but I encourage scheduling as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred time. All appointments are reserved with a credit card at the time of booking.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the session (present and in the room).​

CANCELLATION POLICY
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee to the card on file.

PAYMENT
Payment is required to reserve your appointment and is due at booking (online scheduling) or at the time of service. I accept cash and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express).

ARRIVING LATE
If you arrive late, you are welcome to receive the remaining time in your appointment.
I will do my best to accommodate emergencies when possible, but due to a tightly scheduled day, I’m generally unable to extend sessions beyond the original appointment time. Full payment is still required for the service scheduled.

GIFT CARDS
Gift cards may be purchased in any amount and are redeemable for massage therapy services only (no cash value). Gift cards expire two (2) years from the date of purchase. M.E. Therapeutics is not responsible for lost or stolen cards, unauthorized use, or damaged cards.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities are not included in service pricing and are always appreciated. Tipping is entirely at the client’s discretion; customary gratuity is 15–20% of the regular service price.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
Please share any health conditions, allergies, injuries, special needs, or concerns at the time of booking (or before your session). Your safety matters, and some services may not be appropriate for every condition or stage of healing.

COMMUNICATE YOUR PREFERENCES
Please speak up...your session can be customized to your preferences, including pressure (lighter or deeper), lighting, music, room temperature, and whether you prefer conversation or quiet relaxation.

INSURANCE BILLING
I do not currently offer direct insurance billing; however, I can provide a coded receipt that you may be able to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. A prescription from your doctor or chiropractor is often required. Please contact your insurance company to verify coverage and claim submission requirements. Payment is due at the time of service.
